Official Rules for the “Game On with FlashFiber” Sweepstakes
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
Sponsor: The FlashFiber 2025 Playstation 5 Pro or Meta Quest 3 Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by FlashFiber, a subsidiary of Joe Wheeler Electric Membership Corporation (EMC), located at 25700 AL Hwy 24, Trinity, AL 35673 (“Sponsor”).
Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States who:
Are at least 19 years of age at the time of entry;
Reside within the FlashFiber service area (as defined by Sponsor) at the time of the drawing;
Are not employees, officers, directors, or immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) or household members of Sponsor or its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, or promotion agencies.
Only one entry per household is permitted, regardless of entry method. Multiple entries from the same household will result in disqualification.
Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 AM Central Time (CT) on April 1, 2025, and ends at 11:59:59 PM CT on December 31, 2025 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Entries for each monthly drawing must be received by the last day of the prior month (e.g., April 30, 2025, for the May drawing).
How to Enter: There are two methods of entry:
Automatic Entry with Service Installation: Individuals who have FlashFiber residential internet service installed at their home between April 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025, will automatically receive one (1) entry for the drawing corresponding to the month of installation (e.g., installation in April enters the May 1 drawing). To qualify, installation must be completed and service activated by 11:59:59 PM CT on the last day of the month.
Free Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE): To enter without installing FlashFiber service, visit one of the three Joe Wheeler EMC offices (locations available at jwemc.coop/contact-us/office-locations/) during regular business hours (Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM CT, excluding holidays) and complete an official entry form. Forms must include your full name, address, phone number, email address, and a confirmation that you reside in the FlashFiber service area. Hand-deliver the completed form to a Joe Wheeler EMC representative. Entries must be received by 4:30 PM CT on the last business day of the month to be eligible for the next month’s drawing. No photocopies, facsimiles, or mailed entries will be accepted.
Limit: One (1) entry per household, regardless of entry method. Additional entries will be voided.
Prizes: Each month, one (1) winner will be selected to receive their choice of:
One (1) Playstation 5 Pro, approximate retail value (ARV): $699.00; or
One (1) Meta Quest 3, ARV: $499.00.
Total number of prizes: 9 (one per month from May 2025 through January 2026). Total ARV of all prizes: $4,491–$6,291, depending on winners’ choices. Prizes are non-transferable, and no cash or substitutions are allowed except at Sponsor’s sole discretion if a prize becomes unavailable. Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize. If a prize’s ARV exceeds $600, Sponsor will issue a 1099-MISC form to the winner and the IRS.
Drawing and Odds:
Drawings will occur on or about the first business day of each month from May 1, 2025, through January 1, 2026, at the Joe Wheeler EMC Trinity office. One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received for the prior month (e.g., April entries drawn on May 1). Non-winning entries do not carry over to subsequent months.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received each month but are approximately 1 in 40,000 based on the total number of FlashFiber service area addresses. Odds may vary if fewer or more households enter.
Winner Notification and Verification:
Winners will be notified by phone call and email within five (5) business days of the drawing using the contact information provided at entry. If a winner cannot be reached or does not respond within seven (7) calendar days, or if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected at Sponsor’s discretion.
Winners must pick up their prize in person at the Joe Wheeler EMC Trinity office, 25700 AL Hwy 24, Trinity, AL 35673, within 30 days of notification and provide valid photo ID to verify eligibility. Failure to claim the prize within this period will result in forfeiture.
General Conditions:
By entering, participants agree to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for technical failures affecting entry or notification.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, violates these rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
If the Sweepstakes cannot be conducted as planned due to circumstances beyond Sponsor’s control (e.g., natural disaster, fraud, technical issues), Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes and award prizes from eligible entries received prior to such action.
Release and Publicity: Winners agree to release Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from any liability arising from participation or prize acceptance. Except where prohibited, winners consent to Sponsor’s use of their name, likeness, and city of residence for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
Privacy: Information collected will be used solely for Sweepstakes administration and will not be sold or shared, except as necessary to notify winners or comply with legal requirements.
Winners List: For a list of winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to FlashFiber Sweepstakes Winners List, 25700 AL Hwy 24, Trinity, AL 35673, within 60 days after January 1, 2026.
